Inez Ortiz, MSN, APRN, FNP

Inez started her healthcare career as a nursing assistant after discharging from the military. It was during this time that Inez realized a love for caring for the elderly but was unable to pursue it. Instead, she pursued a career as a peace Officer. She was married with one child, followed by another child so she decided to stay home to raise her children.



15 years later, Inez decided to get back into the work force to follow her dreams and became an LPN. Inez fell in love with her new career and wanted more so she continued her education in nursing. She obtained her MSN in 2010, followed by her Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2012. Her career has taken her to the skilled Nursing Facilities as a Nurse Manager, Transitional Care Unit, Emergency Room, Operating Room Nurse, and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Inez loves and has learned much from her patients and this has made her a better person.
