Maggie Taylor, APRN, FNP-BC, MSN, RN-BC, CNL
Maggie has been a nurse for over 20 years. Born and raised in West Virginia, she’s a proud Mountaineer who received her BSN in 2006 from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She spent years working in the pediatric intensive care unit and trauma service before moving to Ohio and obtaining her first MSN from Walsh University in 2014. Focusing on quality improvement, process management, and evidence-based medicine, she challenged herself by moving into nursing education and became certified in both nursing professional development (RN-BC) and nursing leadership (CNL) in 2018.
During the pandemic, Maggie realized how much she missed bedside nursing and taking care of patients. She returned to Walsh University for her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) degree, graduating in 2024. It was during her FNP clinics that she developed a passion for outpatient care with a focus on preventative care and wellness. Maggie is married, has two daughters, and loves to travel. In her spare time, she volunteers with her dog at the local elementary schools.
