Sara Klintworth, APRN, FNP

Sara has been a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in family medicine, since 2019. She has an array of experience during her tenure as an NP that includes in-home wellness visits for seniors, physical medicine alternative treatments to manage pain/injuries including certification in large joint injections, trigger point injections, and other alternative pain management strategies. Sara has provided wound care; and is certified in hyperbaric medicine, as well. As a nurse, Sara worked for the Cleveland Clinic on both med/surgical floor; and in the transitional care unit in which she cared for mostly the older adult population as they transitioned back home or into further skilled care. Sara is also unique in the fact that she has 15 years of experience practicing Occupational Therapy in skilled and long-term care settings; before altering her career path and becoming a nurse practitioner. Sara has always had a love for working with older adults; as she has a passion for advocating to protect the rights and dignity of this population, along with helping to facilitate their best quality of life. 

In her spare time, Sara loves to spend time at home with her family and her 3 dogs. She also loves to be outdoors and enjoys things like gardening, caring for her chickens, or just hanging out by the pool.
