Stephen Frempong Boakye, APRN, PMHNP

Stephen is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of healthcare experience serving patients and families across diverse settings. His clinical journey began as a combat medic in the United States Army, where he developed a strong foundation in delivering calm, attentive, and life-saving care under highpressure conditions. Motivated by a deep commitment to service, Stephen earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Stark State College, followed by both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. Throughout his career, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to providing patient-centered care grounded in dignity, respect, and empathy. Stephen has a particular passion for geriatric mental health. He recognizes that caring for older adults extends beyond managing medical conditions, it involves active listening, building trust, and supporting patients in preserving their independence and overall quality of life. His approach emphasizes meeting patients where they are, both physically and emotionally, while delivering thoughtful, individualized care in the comfort of their homes. For Stephen, healthcare is more than a profession, it is a calling rooted in service, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of others.
