Svetlana Murphy, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-C

Svetlana is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of nursing experience, primarily in critical care. She began her nursing career at the Cleveland Clinic in the medical ICU and then worked as a travel ICU nurse, caring for medically complex patients across the country. Upon returning home, Svetlana worked in the ICU float pool where she cared for critical patients across every imaginable patient population.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care from Ursuline College. Her critical care background shapes her approach to practice, with a strong focus on recognizing changes early, managing chronic and acute conditions, and helping older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible.

Svetlana is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients and families understand their treatment plans. She also teaches pharmacology to nursing students and is the founder of New Creation Centers, a nonprofit based in the Cleveland area that gives women who are rebuilding their lives a safe, affordable place to live, along with financial education, trauma support, and spiritual care. Outside of work, Svetlana enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being outdoors, and traveling.
